To say I adored this book (very, very, very) much would be stating it mildly! Bobbie Faye is one of the best female characters to come along in a long damn time. The plot has jaw-droppingly clever twists and turns. I could feel the mud in my hair and the heat on my skin when Bobbie Faye and the oh-so-sexy Trevor are slogging through the swamps. And I want to adopt Bobbie Faye's supportive and colorful friends CeCe and Nina.
This book has it all: nonstop action, a heroine you can root for, an intimate look at Louisiana redneck culture, and genuine belly laughs.
Run - don't walk - to your local bookstore and buy this book!

I love a good story, and this one had me at page one. Bobbie Faye's a Southern, sassy, kickass, take only a few prisoners, fall on your butt funny kind of gal. Her adventures kept me turning the pages, her friends were a hoot, and did I mention her men. My oh my, her men!
I was the Chiropractor who pitched the Erin Brockovich story to Jersey Films. I thought that Erin's life would make a compelling movie. I expect to be watching Bobbie Faye's Very Bad Day on the big screen someday. In the mean time, READ!

I LOVED Bobbie Faye's Very (very, very, very) Bad Day. The Louisiana setting is engaging and fun, and Bobbie's a fun, funny protagonist, despite the fact that she is indeed having a VERY (very, very, very) bad day. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does - again and again.
The author must be a magician, because she's taken a character who's inherently over-the-top and made her as real as anyone's free-spirited, whacked-out, favorite aunt.
Grab this book, enjoy every second, and then do like me - wait impatiently for the next.
